I don't have cancer. I don't know anyone who has cancer. Curing cancer would do nothing to me personally. I would wish to cure cancer.

No downside. But the top comment has a point. If you wished for a huggable teddy bear for your female friend, their happiness would show in conversations and instead of saying What game do you want to play tonight? they might say Thanks for the teddy bear!

On each continent (Australia is a continent now by the way) 5 caves will be placed that lead to another universe (including fictional ones),. I will seek these caves to enter another universe and become a shape-shifter (non perfect form of omnifarious).

Any wish ever would indirectly affect me, except for like "I wish that someone on the opposite side of the world remembers their keys today" type wishes. If I"d wanna make useful wishes I"d have to affect myself in some way

So many loop holes. For example, you could sell your wishes. People could just line up and give you money to grant their wish. I'd charge about, say, 50 bucks a wish.

Couldn't you wish for somebody else to have one wish, make them wish that you can wish things that are direct to you and then in payment wish for them to be rich
