You can't transmit AIDS. You can transmit HIV, but AIDS is a condition, not a virus. It just mean you have a weak immune system. So basically, be immortal but get sick constantly and everyone knows why.

Where is the upside? Immortality will make you outlive all of your loved ones, as well as, if you get in to some sort of an irreparable accident, you have to live in pain, forever, constantly. And AIDS, well, I don't think I have to explain that one.
