Actually, if you get transported to a random place and you have free airline tickets and hotel stays, you could sell them and be rich and invent a way to keep your eyes dry and the side effect would not matter anymore

I think it's a terrible dilemma because if you Blink you can basically teleport into lava or somewhere where you would die instantly.

There's no upside to this. Even if you control the blinking you can't control it for long and you certainly can't enjoy the random place forever, not to mention the risks of a random teleport.
