I've said this a thousand fucking times, on many that says you could become immortal: THERE'S NO UPSIDE. I'd rather die instantly than be immortal. It may sound good. But think about it. It's absolutely terrible.

Both are downsides. The 50% death is an obvious downside but immortality is worse,u have to live for the rest of existance seeing friends and family die and even your children

Being immortal would be awful! You will have to watch everyone you love pass away, watch things you love expire or be lost, and once everything is gone you will be alone with no way out of the misery you gave yourself by pressing a button, even if you didn't die.
