Piracy actually increases sales. Most people pirate games to see if they're any good, and if they're interested and the game is good, most of them buy the game.

I might be weird but some games are meant to be played a certain way, like final fantasy being a console game and pokemon being nintendo. Also, nintendo would never release pokemon on a other system so this would kill the series.
