World peace will normally come in some future. Advanced technology would be extinct and could never return. (Jaecrk's Translation)

People can survive without tech. We only just invented it and everyone else survived without it

Latatod 10 years ago

No, every thing you use on a daily basis is technology. There not talking about electronics. Everything humans have ever made is technology. It would be the collapse of civilization.

cheesegal 11 years ago

happiness and peace for all is way better than any piece of technology, also it doesn't say that we're not able to rebuild some of it.

Where is the line that stipulates what is, and what is not, advanced technology? I don't know. Is the horse and plow considered advanced since it uses multiple forms of simple machines (lever, pulley, inclined plane), the domestication of animals, animal h... [Show full comment]

We would still have the scientific advances in our brains all we"d need to do is rebuild. Yes there would be a lot of life lost, but for the trade that violence would never be an issue again. Imagine the advances that could be made while all races work together instead of against each other.

“Advanced technology” includes pacemakers and water purifiers so millions would die anyways just keep the tech and use it to fuck up the bad guys problem solved

Saige_ 11 years ago

First, it doesn't say how long the peace would last, and second, technology is apart of society today and if we were to revert back, sure we'd have peace and prosperity for the world, but people would die from being unskilled enough to support themselves. ... [Show full comment]

People, we can cure diseases with out technologies, plus If we'll have prosperity just a small percent of people will be sick.

Calista 11 years ago

Not a wise button to press--eventually, that peaceful, prosperous planet full of people would encounter a danger that we need advanced technology to combat. Peace and prosperity does no good if everyone dies from, say, an asteroid that you couldn't detect because you no longer have telescopes.
