Well, until you die of old age, so just assume that characters that don’t have a confirmed lifespan have an average lifespan of 70-80 years.

I'll just play Splatoon. It says you're able to respawn if you die of anything other than old age, not that you have to. So I can essentially play Splatoon in real life. Awesome!

Besides out living everyone you know in the real world, and feeling varying pain whenever you die in game, I don't really see a downside.

Play through skyrim, then morrowind, then tf2 then to finish it off, play sao and clannad, (it was initially a visual novel.) And after you finish clannad just off yourself or something.
