the downside is a consequence which is inevitable if you are imortal meaning it would just hit you instantly rather than progressing slowly (human psyche ftw) Also an uthopia will get boring for you after some time (maybe 100 years maybe 10.000)

Immortality should be the con here. Immortality sucks. You have to watch everyone you love die, and if that"s not enough for you sadists, think of this. The world will one day be engulfed by the sun and all that"s left will be a void. You will still live through it.
