What even is the down side to that? It"s like reading the last few chapters of a book first but already knowing the characters and plot. Also it"s the same as rewatching shows and movies.

Scientific studies show people enjoy media more if it is spoiled for them beforehand. Like if there is a plot twist at the end then you go through the movie noticing all the little clues that pointed to that. By the way, Luke dies.

Most movies are obvious how they end: Superhero/ regular hero movie: heroes win, bad guys lose and die or are arrested Survival Movie: Person survives Animated movie for kids: Problem and Solution See my point?

Endings don't really matter as much as the actual experience of watching them. Knowing the end result doesn't invalidate the build up to it.
