Technically, all Pokémon can become strong, if you train them to lvl 100 they will still reck everything else. Also, you could just train a lot of FEARs.

I assume you can evolve them? If so, my adorable fluffy Rattatas and my Water type Bibarels will destroy the league! 2 Rattatas and a Raticate, and 2 Bibarels and a Bidoof! Normals types have incredible movepools! WORTH IT. And they're more huggable than a flaming slug like Slugma.

Rattata I used one for a while in fire red and it was good once it learned hyper fang but I don't know if rattatas and bidoofs could make it through the elite four.

They can. 6 rattatas lvl 1 with that attack which makes the enemy go down to your health, that item that makes you survive the first attack and quick attack. Only way to counter that is an enemy with quick attack. If the enemy doesn't have quick attack he will die
