If you lose the ability to fly just after takeoff you you will be at low altitude and not have time to open the parachute 🪂

I don't see why you wouldn't press it. It doesn't say: "You HAVE to fly". If you have the power, you have it, you don't have to use it. (You never know when the airplane you're in clashes, but when it does at least you have a chance to save your own life)
