I didn't press the button because I thought that the downside said, "Every time you use the option to do something AUTOMATICALLY, your outcome will be half as good as if you did it manually." Now I wish that I had pressed the button.

If that was the downside, I would have pressed the button, because that means, whenever you do something automatically, it would be half as good, but you could counter that by not doing anything automatic unless for emergencies.
