Gender is what you feel as, either male or female or neither, sex is what you biologically are. We all can swap genders anytime we want to.

The way I see it, this isn't quite true. Gender, for most people, can't change, and doesn't change. While for some people it might (eg. genderfluid), even most trans people say their gender has never changed. (I think. I might be wrong. Also thanks for being pro-trans btw)
