Nukes, which provide Mutually assured Destruction, are a good thing, they prevented WW3 between the US and the USSR. Now that more than one country has them, they will likely never be used, they exist as a deterrent.

To be honest, I would gain nothing here. Because if I die, what good is any of this to me? And even if I don't die, what good is it for me anyway? It's not like my life is actively being affected by nukes.
