um, because of science and shit if you go into the past you could introduce a new kind of bacteria that could wipe out all of human existence, or by going into the future you could die of diseases in the future. so, either way I'm dead, works for me.

The present is what you experiencing its the now so if you go to the future that would be your present and this would be your past so you can never do anything ever again, you could have done something or going to do something but never do anything so your frozen forever

Technically, once you’re capable of traveling throughout time, there is no “present.” Besides, even if there was a decided time, and it was constantly changing, you could just be a second or two before that moment/those moments. There’s really no downside.

Because our sense of time (circadian rhythm) keeps going even when we time travel, the present would always be changing, so it would be nearly impossible to go back to the exact moment that you feel it is
