If you push the button then you give your mom an incurable illness then she'll have the side effects but you'll be able to cure her but not immediately so she'll have at least seconds or days depending on how the antidote works of suffering until she is cured.

If you don't press the button, your mother doesn't have the incurable illness to begin with, so your father won't have to die.

My mum littiraly screems and throws a fit if me or my dad forget something that even she forgot and littiraly pats the dog on the head if he bites someone saying didn't mean it because he is a cutie so not pressing the button would do me and my dad a huge favor!!
