I can still prevent things from happening even if I never tell anyone about it. Plus, I could say, "I'm telling you, x is going to happen!!"....I never told anyone that I was able to see into the future.

So, right now I cannot see into the future, so I can't tell anyone about it. If I press the button, I can but still can't tell anyone. No reason not to press the button, just use what you see to your advantage
