Basically life already. Everyone has there own unique story and they are the hero. Everyone is born to do something in life, doesn't matter if your quest is death or becoming a millionaire! Death already is painful and agonizing no matter what.

If its from a daydream Im immortal so Id come back when I die, and I wouldnt be human so my mind would be able to.handle the immortality, and my friends and family would also be immortal. Id also have a million quests so eternity never gets boring, and tentacle momsters would exist.

Basically every hero story ever, and it never specified who gets the agonizing death. The death could be your friend, and it"s what drives you to finally defeat the villain, or the villain gets the agonizing death...
