Doesn't say WHEN I'll die. Since I'm already mortal and dying anyway, why not take that chance?

They aren't mutually exclusive so there's only a 25% chance of death - half of the time you become immortal and so the chance of death becomes irrelevant.

So in other words there's a 50% chance of becoming immortal.....because if you don't you'll eventually die........because your not immortal.

Where is the upside? Being immortal would mean when the world eventually dies you would be floating around in never ending space... All alone... For ALL ETERNITY
