There is no downside. If you really need $500 you can have it anytime you want, you just have to work for it. Allso, you would only need to assemble 26 of the fifty pieces to make it legal tender.

No downside. Everyday, you get the choice to make 50 dollars if you work for it. If you don't want to do it, you don't have to, but it"s always good in times of need.

Assuming that someone would accept a taped together bill, I imagine this gets easier every day if the bill is cut into the 50 peices the same way every day.
