you can only (permanently) paralize yourself or anything else like that if you know that you are paralized when you die.

You won't die until then, so you can do pretty much anything, and you won't need to waste money on life insurance, because you will know it's a waste, until, of course, a few days before, you get it.

I will die eventually. I'll just keep preventing it until there"s no possible way I can avoid it. For example, if I know that I'll get hit by a car tomorrow, I can just prevent it. TECHNICALLY, I'll still die, but not tomorrow.

Isn't that the point? if you could change it you would have to see yourself die multiple times. But being able to change it if you for example where to get killed, and prevent that would be nice.
